If you are an international customer or buying products overseas, then you need to know about Customs Duties. These are country-specific charges levied on shipped goods at the time of import/export and have to be paid to Customs Officials in order for the shipment to be released to the customer.
As it is with most eCommerce retailers, we at Violet & Purple deliver orders on a DDU (Duty Unpaid) basis; the customs duties are borne by the customer. This means that it is you will need to pay customs duties to receive your order. We are not responsible for any issues with payment of duties as they are assessed by the Customs Officials of the receiving country, and not in our hands.
